I built my first model in 1958. In the beginning, I built kits regardless of scale, but in the early '60s I chose 1/72 scale for my hobby, although I build armour and cars in larger scales.

As the years went by, I got more and more interested in the history of WW II aviation and particularly wartime exploits of airmen. Many of my models depict specific pilots' planes.

My modelling skills have improved in the past four decades, however, I build models and not masterpieces or replicas.

Fifty-six years, about 900 built and 300 unbuilt kits later, my fascination with the hobby has not diminished. On the contrary!
